In this beginner’s guide, Jon Kabat-Zinn provides instruction on Mindfulness Meditation, which he has developed from his own experience and study of various forms of spiritual practice. Mindfulness Meditation incorporates many basic and simple philosophies, all of which are outlined in this book and CD set. Some key principals which Zinn has found to be most useful in his teaching include the value of coming back to our bodies and to our senses over and over again, moving beyond our “story” into direct experience and stabilizing our attention and presence amidst daily activities.
